Look at This: Modern 'Bride of Frankenstein' Poster

Sometimes you just can't top the classic monsters. Frankensteinia has discovered this super-sweet Bride of Frankenstein poster created by artist Martin Ansin, being sold on Mondotees.com. Don't get too excited, though. Both this poster and its glow-in-the-dark variant have already sold out.

Great Scenes: The Monster and the Blind Man (Bride of Frankenstein)

I recently created a fanvid putting Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend,” to clips of (mostly) the famous scene in James Whale’s Bride of Frankenstein, in which the monster meets a blind hermit and the two become friends. This was a strange experience for me because, despite having seen the film many times and already holding a fondness for that scene, somehow as I began working with it, taking it apart, and rearranging it, it became even more touching to me than it had been.

Variety has reported, much to the delight of any fan of classic science fiction or horror, that director Danny Boyle will be going back to his roots in stage production for a Frankenstein play. First up on his agenda is 127 Hours, a film that is not anticipated to take long to shoot. After that, he's moving on to the play based on Mary Shelley's legendary monster tale.

Bruce Campbell to Face Off Against Frankenstein?

Bruce Campbell has recently told Ain't It Cool News that there will be a sequel to My Name is Bruce, and it will be called Bruce vs. Frankenstein. The film is set to begin shooting this fall. Here is Campbell's full message:
