We recently promised some new additions to the site, and now we are rolling out the first -- our news section. We'll be monitoring the goings-on in the world of science fiction to the best of our abilities so that we can keep you posted. You'll notice a newsreel on our homepage as well as a "News" option on our menu.

Additionally, you may leave your thoughts on the news in each article's Comments section. In order to leave comments, all you have to do is sign up for a Sci-Fi Block account, which is entirely free and takes only a minute. Then you can speak your mind all you want.

Finally, you may notice that most of the site's pages now feature a new layout, designed for a larger reading area. You'll notice that with these new additions, our Top 10 Countdown bar is gone, but we will still be featuring the countdowns monthly in a slightly different format. From now on, the lists will appear in full when they are posted. No more waiting each day to see the next countdown entry. Of course, as always, you can just click on the "Top 10s" link on our menu and check out all the past Top 10 lists as well.
