Welcome to The Sci-Fi Block, your source for science fiction film reviews.

One billion years in the making, The Sci-Fi Block is a website dedicated to providing in-depth, knowledgeable reviews of science fiction films old and new as well as aiming to be a home for sci-fi discourse. As of right now, our focus is film reviews. We hope to become the resource to which all sci-fi fanatics and sci-fi newcomers will turn for insight into the genre.

The site currently has 47 reviews spanning over 80 years. Over the next ten weekdays we will be adding one review per day, and starting in September we will begin each month with a two-week long Top 10 Countdown. On top of that, each week we will be spotlighting one of the site's reviews. More reviews will be added on a frequent basis. We hope you will send us your thoughts on everything -- our Top 10 lists, the spotlighted film of the week, the website in general, or anything related to science fiction. We hope to add a "Reader Mail" section as soon as we receive sufficient response.
